Hi! My name is Angelique (Ang). l am a single mom of Mateo (4 yrs old), who is my best friend in the entire world. I currently live in Brookpark and have lived in Northeast Ohio my entire life. l attended Berea-Midpark high school and graduated In 2017. I briefly attended Wright State to obtain my degree in psychology. After having my son, I went to beauty school where I became a licensed advanced cosmetologist. I began working as an esthetician for a year, but quickly realized my passion was still for helping others. I am once again working towards my bachelors in psychology - with a focus in family and children counseling. My goal is to obtain my doctorate in child and family therapy.

While becoming a doula is a new venture for me, I did work with a team of midwives during my pregnancy. These midwives opened me to a new world of medicine and advocated for me when I couldn’t find the words. Their care and support for me as a woman and a mother during pregnancy and postpartum ignited my passion in this field. I have found that being a doula at Fourth Down gives me the ability to be that for other moms when they need it most.

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my parents and four younger siblings. I love audio books, true crime podcasts, and watching rom coms to wind down. My time off is filled with taking my son to sports, endless musicals, and Disney movies.
